The University of Warsaw is proud to invite to the 3rd International DELab UW Conference "Ongoing Digitalistation of Economies and Societies". We invite academics, researchers, PhD candidates and students from different disciplines to come and get to know the newest research results carried out, among others, at Bruegel, University of Warsaw, SWPS University, Kozminsky University, Vienna University of Technology, University of Groningen and at the Institute of Computer Science at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The presenters at the Economics track will introduce novel research results on new business models, platform economics, blockchain and on such heated regulatory debates as privacy or geo-blocking. Come and participate in the discussion with Georgios Petropoulos (Bruegel), Caroline Kinuthia, PhD (Vienna University of Technology, School of Informatics) or dr Sylwia Dudek-Mańkowska with dr Mirosław Grochowski (Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies, University of Warsaw) and many others.
The Sociology Track will focus on the new opportunities and social challenges in the digital era. The participants will debate on various subjects such as the impact of automation on the Polish labour market, shifts in social roles, knowledge transfer in digital environments or the sharing economy. The presenters include prof. Kazimierz Krzysztofek (SWPS), prof. Renata Włoch (UW), Marta Olcoń-Kubicka with Mateusz Halawa (PAN) and many others.
